1. Gateau Chocolat (¥1540/ 1 roll)

This is the famous chocolate cake made by pastry chef Tetsuji Suzuki from "Hotel de Suzuki." This Gateau Chocolat is sold only at this shop. Abundant Couverture Chocolate smoothens the finish and enriches the taste.

2. Japanese sweets, Mochidora, with YAKIIN (¥129/1 piece)

A popular "Mochidora" treat from an old shop with a smile hot iron (Yakiin), sold only in the Atre Kichijoji Shop. The sticky rice powder in the dough adds a delectable firm texture to complement the Ogura-an (a sweet azuki bean paste of mashed and whole beans) from Hokkaido. The bite-size pieces are easy to eat.

3. Kichijoji Apple Pie (¥396 for 1/6 cut, ¥2376 for a whole pie)

Original apple pie developed for Kichijoji by DONQ. Apple pieces layered onto home-made pie-dough and topped with vanilla-flavored crumble before baking.

4. Kichijoji Castella (¥1080/1 block)

A fluffy Castella decorated with the Kichijoji swan mascot (see the real swan in Inokashira Park) and baby bear of Bunmeido. Sold only in Atre Kichijoji. Visit early because only 10 blocks are sold on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.

5. Shaka-Shaka Waffle (3 kinds, ¥300 each)

A home-made crispy-fried sticky waffle for takeout. Crispy on the outside and sticky on the inside. The shaka-shaka name describes the preparation method: place the waffle in a bag with flavored sugar and shake briskly.

6. NEKONO-TE (¥230/1 piece)

Finished in the shape of a cat's paw. Dacquoise dough (crispy outside, soft inside) infused with raw rice cream inside. A cute cake with a kitty-pad pattern, scrumptious flavors, and crispy texture!

7. Azuki Zenzai by Chiekura-San (¥1780/6 pieces)

A red bean sweet made by hand by a bean paste craftsman with 60 years of experience. Finished red beans from Hokkaido are boiled with sugar beets to infuse a mild sweetness. Enjoy the traditional taste of Japanese red beans, as well as the fancy chic box.

8. Kichijoji Croon (¥151/1 piece)

A baked cake combining ingredients from the East and West: white and yellow bean paste, egg, butter, and condensed milk. The dough is squeezed into a spiral shape, baked, and filled with marmalade jam filling. A seasonal "Croon of Kichijoji Udo" also comes in the box.

Bean-paste-filled wafers fashioned in a harmonica shape inspired by "Harmonica Yokocho," the notable Kichijoji shopping area. The bean paste recipe uniquely combines flavors from the East and West. Enjoy the harmony of the two flavor themes, East and West.

10. Musashino Fujin (¥183/1 piece)

Contains yellow bean paste and walnut. An original Japanese cake baked in foil by a European method, widely loved for its enjoyable texture. The recipe is said to have been inspired by the "Beautiful Lady of Musashino" and scrub brush. A popular cake baked with a charming moist feeling.

11. KISSHO KINUFUKU (¥1200/9 piece pack)

A special assortment of 9 pieces, sold only in the Kichijoji Shop. Includes three pieces of "Kinufuku Mochi" (rice cake wrapped with smooth red bean paste, flavorful green soy bean paste, or flavor black sesame paste) and six pieces of "Kinufuku Ddaifuku" made with Shiga Habutae-Mochi.

From a shop borne from Challenge Marche in Kichijoji Harmonica Yokocho. A soft Japanese rice cake wrapped with carefully pureed red bean paste, flavorful green soy bean paste, and flavorful black sesame paste.

13. George Town Cheese Cake (¥540)

A cake humorously named after "The Town of Kichijoji" to commemorate the opening of Kichijoji shop during Kichijoji's town renewal. Only two dairy ingredients are included: New Zealand cream cheese and a domestic fresh cream with a 40% fat content.

Rum confit raisin and fresh butter cream sandwiched between carefully baked fragrant cookies. The flavor of rum expands after one bite. A taste tradition of Kichijoji since 1980.

An original new sweet prepared by wrapping Kinpira flavored paste with pie dough and baking. Musashino City specialty "Udo" and "Musashino Red Pepper" are kneaded into the paste. Only available in this shop.

Three layers of white paste with coffee and a premier fresh cream in a coffee-flavored rice cake wrapping. The most popular sweet in the shop. Goes wonderfully with coffee or tea! Sold frozen, so be sure to defrost before eating.

The masterful work of a "Miso Specialty Shop" famous for its meat-stuffed cabbage, an enduring favorite for Kichijoji locals for the last 29 years. A crispy baked sable containing a five-grain soy-bean paste together with other selected raw ingredients. Unique for its robust taste of butter and miso flavor.

20. Inokashira SENBEI (¥108/1 piece)

A reprint of a specialty Senbei fashioned in a sharp mark (#) shape (used in the character for "Inokashira"). Exclusive sales started at Tokyu Department Store in 2004 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of this Department Store, Kichijoji Shop. Every piece is traditionally worked by experts and hand-baked.

21. KISSYO KICHIJITSU KINTSUBA (¥206/1 piece)

A paste of Dainagon red beans from Tamba with Wasanbon sugar and chipped chestnuts kneaded in. The rich and robust taste of Kintsuba comes from the selected raw materials. A "lucky good" (reputed to bring Good Luck) sold only at Tokyu Department Store.

22. KISSYO KICHIJITSU DORAYAKI (¥251/1 piece)

Lucky Dorayaki calling "Good Luck." The paste is made with Dainagon red beans from Tamba and crystal sugar. Carefully baked in a dough composed of "Izabura" eggs from locally raised chickens and "Shirogane Tsuru" flour from Gunma Prefecture. Sold only at Tokyu Department Store.

23. DAIKICHI Chou (¥172/1 piece)

Custard cream puffs with generous globs of custard and sprinkles of sugar, baked in chou-wrapping. The trade name includes the "KICHI: Luck" character from "Kichijoji" to describe the luck it brings. Sold in limited quantities because the chou-wrappings are always baked early in the morning on the same day.

24. DAIKICHI Roll (¥1134/1 roll)

A soft, mild-tasting roll consisting of fresh cream and custard rolled into a soft sponge using rice powder. Made with sweet, robustly flavored "Nasu Goyoran Eggs." The trade name includes the "KICHI: Luck" character from "Kichijoji" to describe the luck it brings.

25. Kichijoji HIKARI Castella (¥270/1 piece)

A castella cake developed to satisfy the taste preferences described by local residents and the members of the Kichijoji-Minami Shopping Association. The hallmark quality is the soft and mild taste attained from the Iodine Egg HIKARI and pure fresh cream ingredients. Slightly less sweet than a typical castella, to bring out the wonderful flavor of the eggs.

26. Tigre Pudding (¥356/1 piece)

A special pudding invented by a pastry chef born and raised in Musashino. Contains abundant egg yolk, with vanilla beans from Tahiti and a topping of pure fresh cream. The cute milk bottle makes it an ideal gift.

A roll cake made by wrapping pure cream and custard cream in a soft, moist dough containing seven times more egg than flour. The dedicated roll cake box is convenient to carry and makes the cake an ideal gift.

28. Madeleine of Passatempo (¥230 - 280/1 piece)

Classic French madeleines with "fundamental" flavors. The ingredients are hung on racks to dry as much as possible to extract all of the natural goodness. Six types are sold: "Plain," "Powdered Tea Flavored Red Bean," and so on.

29. Maple Melon Bread (¥162/1 piece)

A melon bread with the crispy texture of a hard cookie dough on the surface and robust sweetness of maple butter flowing from inside. Interviews were rushed for the palatability and attracting attention as a new showplace of DAIYA Street.

1. Thick KEYAKI Leaf (¥2355/10 piece pack)

A thick pie made with generous amounts of Hokkaido butter. Baked for a full hour to attain maximum crispness. The pie-maker was inspired by the beauty of the Keyaki (Zelkova Wood) tree line on the Seikei Gakuen campus.

A rice castella known for its fine and robust taste and texture. Made from a blend of local rice four, selected eggs, and honey. Wrapped in an unwoven cloth printed with an old map of the "MUSASHINO-KUNI" district.

4. "KARINTO" of Musashino KARIN (¥380/1 bag)

Karinto (Deep-Fried Brown Sugar Snacks) is a familiar snack from the old days containing selected raw materials and relatively little sugar. One of the seven snacks, "Black Sugar Karinto," is made exclusively with a hard-to-find flour from Musashino. The package expresses the simplicity of Karito.

5. Choco-Rusk (¥170/1 bag)

A chocolate chip rusk made from 100% local four and pure cocoa of high-quality cocoa beans. The special black color comes from the black cocoa ingredient. The sweet taste of chocolate lingers in your mouth. Try to taste the bitter-sweetness.

6. Pound Cake (plain) (¥160/1 piece)

A moist pound cake made from local flour, specialty eggs, and local butter. The shop opened in 1992 as a work-place for handicapped people and has since grown roots in the neighborhood as a specialty bakery.

Sable cookies decorated with geographical places of interest in Musashino City such as "Inokashira Lake." The cookies taste as good as they look thanks to selected ingredients such as vanilla bean extract from Tahiti. Eat and learn geography at the same time.

Simple sweets made from quality fresh butter sandwiched in soft sponge. Today's Coquille are re-workings of the original recipes from the shop's former owner. Born and raised in Musashino.

Chocolate cake with meltingly great texture containing fresh chocolate sandwiched in soft sponge. Created to satisfy a customer's request at the shop's 53rd anniversary. Recommended for daily light snacks or as a gift.

10. Baked Cheese Cake of Bean Curd Refuse (¥310/1 cut)

Healthy baked cheese cake using fresh bean curd pulp made of local soy beans such as TOYOMASARI and ENREI, manufactured in collaboration with the Musashino Health Promotion Corporation (a Public Interest Incorporated Foundation). Has about half the calories of a typical baked cheese cake.

11. Bella Donna, Blossoming Rose in Musashino (¥1620/1 box)

A rose-shaped madeleine. Stylishly culinary, with a glaze sprinkled on lemon-flavored cake decorated in the colors of raspberry, mango, and powdered-tea. Each box contains five roses in different colors and flavors, just like a bouquet flowers. Ideal for celebrations, or as a gift when calling on friends.

Five baked donuts fashioned in tire shapes and packaged in Musashino City Community Bus "MuBus" type box. Every donut is carefully prepared by hand in the hope of winning the love of Kichijoji locals, just like MuBus.
