Inokashira Park will be celebrating its centennial this year. Two Kurabitos (artisans skilled in the brewing of SAKE) from Urushido SAKE Brewery in Nagano have brewed their own SAKEs for the Inokashira brand: "Junmai Ginjo" with a rich smell and "Junmai" with a refreshing taste. Both are appreciated for their mild and palatable qualities.

Humanity's oldest beauty wine made from honey, the origin of the words medicine and honeymoon, said to have been a favorite drink of Cleopatra's. It's a product filled with the blessings of nature and perfectly suits the image of Musashino as a home to bees.

A New-Standard but Enduring Gift by Karel Capek. Seasonal tea leaves harvested from a famous tea field and packed into teabags at the height of freshness. Every can contains twenty sachets of red tea and herb tea. Also popular for the cute package illustration.

5. Friendly Wine between Brașov and Musashino; Parks (¥2,268 (red), ¥1,836 (white) p.p.)

An original product planned and sold as a token of friendship between the cities Musashino and Brașov, Romania. A brewer who loves people and nature made a wine that is kind on the body, protects the history and tradition of Romania.

6. Roasted Green Tea (¥540/100g contained)

The perfume-like aroma you detect along Kichijoji Daiyagai Street is probably tea flavor roasting in the famous local establishment, Yamariya. The Roasted Green Tea from Yamariya is famous for its robust flavor. Freshly prepared roasts are sold at the shopfront every day. A pleasing, traditional taste carefully packed into teabags.

7. Musashino Rail Ale (¥600 per bottle (330ml). Keep refrigerated.)

A bottled beer commemorating the birth of Musashino's first beer brewery 26K Brewery. The name is a play on ale and rails since it's brewed under an elevated railway. One of the ingredients is water from Musashino. The illustration is by Kin Shiotani.

Central Musashino Area

1. Cafe Arabian (¥750 per bag (100g))

This recreates the coffee from the pioneering home-roasted coffee shop Mocha in Kichijoji, which sadly closed down. It's a blend based on Yemen Mattari, exhibiting the delicious sweet richness and lingering bitterness that is characteristic of Mocha coffee.

SAKEs by Toshimaya Shuzo in Higashi-Murayama City, one of the few breweries in metropolitan TOKYO. Two varieties, "Junmai Ginjo" and "Junmai," are sold in retail SAKE shops throughout Musashino City. Enjoy a good flavor, clear taste, and well-rounded aftereffects.
